Kimberly Mosley Hired as DAA Executive Director
Wakefield, MA. – Feb 15, 2021 – The Digital Analytics Association (DAA) announced that Kimberly Mosley, CAE, has been hired as the new Executive Director of DAA, replacing Marilee Yorchak, CAE, who is retiring after five years of leading DAA.
In her new role, Mosley has operational responsibility for all of the DAA's programs and activities, as well as supervising DAA staff and vendor relationships. She will work closely with the Board to ensure that new initiatives track to the DAA's mission, that budgetary goals are met, and that organizational growth meets or surpasses its targets.
Prior to DAA, Mosley served as president of the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) where she applied process improvements, leveraged technology, and fostered staff development to increase revenues. She served as the national spokesperson for the organization and launched a public PR campaign that resulted in 62 pieces of coverage totaling over 138 million impressions in 2019.
Mosley has been a leader in the association industry for more than 20 years with a background in technology. Prior to her role with ASTRA, she served as CIO for the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Association Forum where she served in many leadership roles including serving as secretary/treasurer for Association Forum board of directors. In 2002, she was awarded the Diversity Executive Leadership Scholarship. She has served as adjunct faculty for Governors State University in healthcare informatics and serves on the advisory board for Prairie State Junior College. She also lectures, blogs, and writes articles on association management and technology.
She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Governors State University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
"I am so pleased to welcome Kim into our organization," said June Dershewitz, DAA President and Data Strategist at Amazon. "Her strong track record as an association executive puts her in an excellent position to understand the needs of DAA's members, bring our community together, and act as an advocate for the analytics industry. I am confident that Kim will guide the DAA to new heights."
“I am honored to be given this opportunity to join the DAA community and serve this important mission. I am excited to build on the strong foundation Marilee and the organization’s leadership have put in place,” said Mosley. “There is no doubt the pandemic has challenged us – challenged us to pivot. And we will continue to leverage our community and collective strengths to come out of this with new focus and reach boldly into the future. I look forward to building that new chapter with you.”
