Digital Analytics Association to Host New York Symposium on Cutting Big Data Down to Size

WAKEFIELD, MA – November 21, 2013 - The Digital Analytics Association(DAA) announced today that it will host its New York Symposium at The Graduate Center, CUNY 4th from 1 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. followed by a networking reception. With a theme of “Beyond the Hype: Cutting Big Data Down to Size,” this event will offer a practical afternoon for marketing and analytics leaders by offering a real-world look at the state of business and data.

The New York chapter of the Digital Analytics Association has organized a concentrated and fast-moving survey of the people, platforms and practices that leading organizations use to understand how to play and win in the age of big data. The event’s agenda is focused on getting past the hype and bringing ‘big data’ down off its pedestal, showing how real companies are organizing for data-driven decisions and reshaping business’ data into manageable, meaningful sets that allow smart analysts to deliver actionable insights. The afternoon will conclude with a highlight reel of exciting and inspiring consumer experiences brought about through the clever use of data.

Sessions on the agenda include:

  • People – Organizing for Success. The people you need to win
  • Platforms – Top products and platforms, and what’s coming next
  • Process – How top firms are succeeding today
  • Highlight Reel of Data-Driven Products and Services
