DAA WiA Mentoring Program Underway

Continuation of Progress with Women in Analytics Initiative

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – April 30, 2018 – Bolstered by a strong Women in Analytics community that advocated for a mentoring program, the Digital Analytics Association (DAA) has created a new mentoring program that reflects DAA's commitment to members and the professional development of women in analytics.

Response to the WiA Mentoring Program from DAA members has been enthusiastic:

  • “There is always benefit in making connections with other people in the industry; sharing both our struggles and ideas for solutions and approaches.” –
    Tim Wilson
  • “Receiving input from somebody who is not a manager, colleague, or direct report is invaluable.” –
    Krystal Solcich
  • “Each specific agenda for meetings is prepared by mentees… thanks to this you can be sure the program is matched perfectly to your needs.” –
    Natalia Malec-Lachowska

Nicole Leite is the Founder and Chief Analyst of Ambitny: “As a mentor, I'm having a wonderful experience in the program. I find volunteering my time in the role of a mentor very rewarding, especially if it helps someone grow in their career and have future success. Taking an hour or less a week to dedicate my time to the growth of a woman in the analytics industry is so worthwhile to me.”

The DAA asks that mentees be exclusively women but welcomes both men and women to participate as mentors. Plans call for an expanded program in 2019 for both men and women. This program is an exclusive benefit of DAA membership.
