Jake Collins, Director, Market Intelligence, UPMC
As director of Market Intelligence, Mr. Jake Collins is responsible for examining market, financial, and clinical data sets in order to help UPMC engage patients in the most effective and efficient manners. He is responsible for demonstrating ROI for marketing projects, better understanding individual patient journeys and their impliactions for outreach, and providing strategic market guidance to service line and hospital leadership in their growth efforts, as well as maintaining the data sets and providing guidance for the development of a cross departmental CRM.
In his previous role as senior director of Advisory Services for UPMC International, Mr. Jake Collins was responsible for business development, project management, operational oversight, and consultative services across a number of markets for UPMC. He has extensive experience in developing client-ready business strategies based on his completion of comprehensive market assessment studies. Mr. Collins has worked on projects in China, Colombia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, the Russian Federation, Singapore, and Vietnam among others.
David Frick, Strategic Value Advisor, Marketo
David is the Strategic Value Advisor of Marketo, an Adobe Company, where he is an advisor to enterprise C-Suite executives, focused on enabling digital transformation, advancing marketing maturity and improving engagement marketing. Previously, he held positions at Sovrn Holdings, Merkle and Vail Resorts. Kevin is a devoted and artistic practitioner of data. He believes data must do more than simply provide insights which inspire creative thought. Rather, data must express insights in ways that are just as creative as the ideas they activate.In his role, Kevin and his team of 60+ analysts partner with major advertisers, creative agencies, and media companies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. His approach mixes science and art to deliver inventive, fact-based strategies that reduce uncertainty and increase effectiveness in the marketing and advertising programs they create. Prior to joining Google, Kevin ran a strategic analytics group at Draftfcb, a global creative agency.
In addition to his work at Google, Kevin is an adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame's Master of Science in Business Analytics program, the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Analytics and Harris Graduate School of Public Policy, and the University of Illinois's Executive MBA program where he teaches courses including digital marketing, business analytics, and data visualization. Kevin also produced a Coursera course on digital marketing analytics as part of the University of Illinois's Digital Marketing certificate program, ranked #1 by Coursera in its list of Most Coveted Coursera Certificates.
Kevin received his BA from the University of Notre Dame and MBA and MPP from the University of Chicago.

Kashif Khurshid is a leading expert in Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations with over 14 years of experience in both B2B & B2C space. He is currently Leading the Marketing Analytics & Technology Team at Alert Logic (SaaS) with Pipeline Marketing, Customer Journey Modeling, & MarTech Stack Management. Prior to her current role, Valerie established and led the first Digital Analytics and Optimization programs at both UBS and the American Medical Association, and in 2014, her first year as a Digital Analyst, she was honored to be a finalist for the DAA “Rising Star” award. Before joining Purple as Chief Executive Officer, Joe Megibow served as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. where he oversaw the transformation and growth of American Eagle’s $550+ million direct-to-consumer business between 2012 and 2015. In this role, he built out a global omni-channel strategy and infrastructure, and led all digital marketing, customer operations, engineering and product management efforts. Prior to that, Megibow held several senior roles with Expedia, Inc., including VP and General Manager of Expedia.com, the $10B+ US online travel business. Joe Miscavige is the Director of Analytics within the Business Intelligence Group at PBS, where he is responsible for providing actionable, data-driven insights about children’s media and education throughout the organization as well as leading on data visualization and data literacy initiatives. Prior to joining PBS, Joe managed cross-network advanced platform analysis for AMC Networks. He is a co-leader of the Digital Analytics Association, Washington D.C. chapter and the DAA’s Practitioner of the Year for 2018. Mark Synnott is a New York Times bestselling author, a pioneering big wall climber and one of the most prolific adventurers of his generation. His search for unclimbed and unexplored rock walls has taken him on more than 30 expeditions to places like Alaska, Baffin Island, Greenland, Iceland, Newfoundland, Patagonia, Guyana, Venezuela, Pakistan, Nepal, India, China, Tibet, Uzbekistan, Russia, Cameroon, Chad, Borneo, Oman and Pitcairn Island. Closer to home, Mark has climbed Yosemite’s El Capitan 24 times, including several one-day ascents.
Mark was one of the first climbers to extensively explore the remote east coast of Baffin Island, in Arctic Canada. He he has pioneered four big wall first ascents on the island, including a grade VII on the 4700-foot north face of Polar Sun Spire. This epic route, called The Great and Secret Show, required the team to spend 36 nights in portaledges. In Baffin’s Auyuittuq National Park, Mark completed the first ski descent of the South Face of Mt. Odin, via a 5,000-foot couloir. In Pakistan’s Karakoram mountains, Mark established two grade VII big wall first ascents—The Ship of Fools on Shipton Spire and Parallel Worlds on Great Trango Tower. The latter, a 6,000-foot wall topping out over 20,000 feet, is one of the longest rock climbs in the world. Most recently, in the spring of 2019, Mark summited Mount Everest via the Northeast Ridge.
When he's not in the mountains, Mark works with The North Face Global Athlete Team (of which he has been a member for more than two decades) and he is highly sought after as a storyteller and motivational speaker. His client list includes General Motors, Bank of New York, VF Corp, the X Prize Foundation and National Geographic. Mark has also worked extensively in the film and television industry, both in front of and behind the camera. His credits include work for National Geographic Television, NBC Sports, Warren Miller Entertainment, Teton Gravity Research and Red Bull Media House. An accomplished journalist, Mark is a regular contributor to National Geographic magazine, and is the author of the national bestseller, The Impossible Climb: Alex Honnold, El Capitan and the Climbing Life and Baffin Island: Climbing, Trekking, and Skiing
Mark is also an IFMGA certified mountain guide, a long time SAR member and first responder and a trainer for the Pararescuemen of the US Force.
Sarah Walker, Digital Research Specialist, Nexstar Digital
Sarah Walker is an analytics professional who excels at turning data into insight for media companies. She is currently the digital analytics specialist for Nexstar Digital, providing insights for a wide array of local media entities. Sarah previously designed and managed the analytics reporting suite for Tribune Media, a top 60 web publisher. Sarah combines her passion for digital data and analytics with a sense of humor and knack for storytelling, attempting to make the most daunting of numbers easy to understand. Tim Wilson, Senior Analytics Director, Search Discovery, Inc.
Tim is a Senior Analytics Director at Search Discovery, a data transformation company. He has been working with digital data full-time since 2001 in a variety of roles: from managing a web analytics platform migration and developing analytics processes as the head of the business intelligence department at a $500 million high tech B2B company; to creating and growing the analytics practices at three different agencies that worked with a range of large consumer brands; to consulting with the digital analytics teams at Fortune 500 companies on their strategies, processes, and tactics for effectively putting their digital data to actionable use. Tim is a long-time creator of pragmatic content for analysts and marketers, including co-hosting the bi-weekly Digital Analytics Power Hour podcast (analyticshour.io) and co-creating dartistics.com -- a site dedicated to encouraging analysts to learn the R programming language and apply statistical methods to their data.
Tim is physically based in Columbus, Ohio, while his heart and soul maintain joint custody with Austin, Texas.
Amber Zaharchuck, Associate Director, Affiliate Partnership Development and Operations, Disney & ESPN Media Networks
With more than 10 years of experience in digital analytics, Amber is proficient in crafting anad validating comprehensive analytics solutions.
